Manufactured from high grade EN24T and heat-treated to V condition, our Ford Duratec flywheels are also chemically dipped to improve their longevity. Titan has developed four flywheel variants, which are fully CNC machined in-house:
- Standard Lightweight to suit 8.5" Clutch, with a total mass of 4.7kg
- Super Lightweight to suit 8.5" Clutch, with a total mass of 3.7kg
- Standard Lightweight to suit 7.25" Racing Clutch, with a total mass of 4.1kg
- Super Lightweight to suit 7.25" Racing Clutch, with a total mass of 3.2kg
The additional weight reduction for the Super Lightweight Flywheel compared to our Standard Flywheel increases performance with less inertia on the Crankshaft, this results in a faster throttle response.
