This 168 LSD comes completely assembled with the Pre-load and Ramp Angles set to your exact requirements to suit most 4 Cylinder BMW's from 1969 including the 2002. Unlike Steel plates, the performance characteristics of our Sintrax coated Discs, enables them to produce more friction as one of the wheels loses traction, resulting in more of the available torque being transferred to the wheel with the most grip. Sintrax Coated Discs are offered as standard however an upgrade to Carbon Woven Friction Discs ensures a smoother and more consistent level of performance. This completely removes plate chatter and noise, making this option more suited for motorsport vehicles and everyday road use.
